British Values – The Rule of Law
Moseley Park’s students enjoyed a day learning about “The Rule of Law”. Firstly, students had a tour of Wolverhampton’s Crown Court and were able to sit in the public gallery to see verdicts and trials taken place. Students witnessed trials such as a murder case and Rio Ferdinands racial abuse case.
Secondly, students visited Wolverhampton’s University for an afternoon of debating and understanding about how their voice can help shape law. Students debated and researched whether they think the government are doing enough to help the current cost of living crisis. Students were also taught about how a law is made and how this country is governed.
