Homework Club Offers A Helping Hand
Youngsters in Year 7 and 8 who would like a bit of extra help – or just a quiet space to do their homework – are invited to stay after school on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Homework Club, which is for Key Stage 3 students, takes place in E2 from 3pm to 4pm.
The club is run by Mrs Baker, who is on hand to help solve homework dilemmas and make sure that pupils have everything they need to complete the work they have been set.
Mrs Baker said: “Homework Club runs until 4pm on Monday and Tuesday, but you don’t have to stay for the whole hour if you finish your work and want to go home!
“I’m on hand to help with any sort of homework, from any subject. Or it might just be that you find it easier to sit quietly and get things done before you go home – or that you want to use the computer in school.
“Everyone is welcome to come along whenever they feel they would benefit from Homework Club.”
Anyone who would like to attend the sessions should speak to Mrs Baker.
