Skye’s The Limit For Golden Girl
Young gymnasts proved they have the dedication to succeed as they took part in a city-wide competition.
Year 7, 8 and 9 girls represented Moseley Park at the city gymnastics championships this week.
It was the first time that a number of the girls had competed in gymnastics and they worked hard for more than two weeks to prepare for the contest – staying behind after school until 5pm on a number of nights.
Their hard work paid off as Skye Sillitto in Year 7 was crowned city champion – winning the gold medal for her floor routine.
Miss Rigsby, who took the girls to the competition, said: “The rest of the girls were also fantastic and represented Moseley Park brilliantly. They worked very hard to prepare for the event and I was very proud of them indeed.”
