Summer School 2021

Moseley Park’s 2021 Summer School provided an excellent opportunity to support our Year 6 students with their transition into the secondary setting. Due to the impact of the pandemic, Year 6 were targeted as a high priority in receiving this provision. The programme was also offered to our most vulnerable learners across KS3.

The programme was delivered over five days and delivered in partnership with an experienced company; Squirell Learning. Activities focussed on a range of academic, digital, practical, social and wellbeing topics, including:

  • Transition activities
  • STEM Robotics
  • Filmmaking
  • Problem-solving challenges
  • Sports activities
  • Arts and crafts

We received £22,765.10 in funding for the Summer School event which was spent as follows:

  • Staffing £17,520.10
  • Squirrel Learning £5,000
  • Catering (small contribution) £245
