Year 7 Leading the Way

Year 7 have been displaying some excellent leadership skills raising money for Children Need. Teachers and students came together to bake and sell cakes raising £100 for the charity.

Year 7 have also been impressive in lessons earning them a hot chocolate morning and student of the week status!

Mr Mincher said: “A huge thank you to a particular student in year 7, Mr Liam Spittle for is massive efforts. Liam is determined to show leadership skills in lessons and around school. I think he brought the entirety of the local shop in order to raise money and fulfil one of his leadership challenges which is to help organise a charity event. He has already completed all the bronze challenges and is half way through the silver challenges, very impressive!”

I’m very proud of how Year 7 students have started and the attitudes they have portrayed during this unprecedented time. They thoroughly deserve the rewards they are getting, keep it up!
