Moseley Park Academy Welcomes DWP to Launch Year 10 Work Experience Programme

Today, Moseley Park Academy was delighted to welcome representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to officially launch the Year 10 Work Experience Programme.

During the session, students gained valuable insights into how to apply for placements, how to communicate effectively with professionals, and the many benefits of taking part in work experience — all closely linked to the Gatsby Benchmarks for good career guidance.

As part of the event, information about the Unifrog platform — which will be used this year to help pupils explore opportunities and manage their applications — was shared with both students and staff.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership between Moseley Park Academy and DWP. The school looks forward to welcoming DWP back for further support sessions with other year groups as the collaboration continues to grow.
