University Visit

On Friday 28th November students from Central Sixth visited the University of Wolverhampton as part of their preparation for considering university pathways.

Students took part in a range of subject masterclasses, giving them the chance to explore academic areas they may wish to study at degree level. These sessions provided a real insight into university style learning and helped students understand what different courses involve.

Students also enjoyed a tour of the campus, where they had the opportunity to see teaching spaces, study facilities, and social areas while learning more about the support and opportunities available to undergraduates.

The day ended with an engaging personal statement workshop where university staff offered practical guidance on how to articulate achievements, interests and future aspirations in UCAS applications.

Overall, the visit was an inspiring and informative experience that helped Year 12 students feel more confident and motivated as they begin planning their future university choices.
