Year 10 Pupils Explore Careers at West Midlands Transport Hub
Year 10 pupils from Moseley Park recently took part in an exciting workplace visit to the West Midlands Transport Hub, giving them a valuable insight into the world of work and future career opportunities.
During the visit, pupils had the chance to observe staff in action across a range of roles. They learned about the skills required to work in the transport industry, including teamwork, technical ability and problem-solving, as well as the importance of reliability and communication in a professional environment.
The visit also highlighted a variety of career pathways and apprenticeship opportunities available within the transport sector. Pupils were able to ask questions, gain real-world knowledge, and see how classroom learning links to future employment.
We would like to say a special thank you to Lisa and Joe for supporting the visit and for sharing their own career journeys with our students, which proved both inspiring and informative.
Moseley Park would like to thank the West Midlands Transport Hub for hosting the visit and providing such a valuable learning experience for our pupils.
