Brilliant Boys’ Basketball Team Travel To Triumph
Young basketballers proved they could keep a cool head under pressure as they scored a resounding victory against tough opposition.
The Year 7 boys’ basketball team beat Perryfields High School, in Oldbury, during a hotly-contested away game.
They triumphed 40-7 and will now progress on to the next round.
Mr Bolton, who took the lads to the fixture, said: “It was a very noisy and intimidating game against a very good, quick and agile team.
“But our boys have trained week-in, week-out, kept calm and secured a very promising victory of 40 – 7. A massive well done to the team and hopefully we can have a home fixture soon, so the whole school can come and cheer them on.”
