Brilliant Year 7 Prove They Mean Business
Budding entrepreneurs showed off their business skills as they successfully completed a brand new programme.
The enterprise challenge saw all Year 7 students compete to design the best “pop up shop” working with employers from across the city.
Students were fully involved in all aspects of the planning and marketing of their ideas and had the chance to hone their own skills and personal qualities as part of the programme, which was delivered through the city-wide HeadStart initiative. Winning teams were selected by staff and business leaders.
Miss Jones, who is co-ordinating HeadStart activities in school, said: “Our pupils displayed outstanding skills during the challenge, including leadership, communication, resilience and teamwork. They represented the school brilliantly and the feedback from our visitors was extremely complimentary. Another amazing event from Year 7 and a brilliant end to their first year here at Moseley Park.”
