Celebrating World Book Day at Moseley Park
Moseley Park was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated World Book Day with a range of inspiring activities designed to promote a love of reading across the school.
On Thursday, pupils were thrilled to welcome author Emma Whitehouse, who led workshops exploring identity. In English lessons across the school, pupils explored the work of the Black Country Bards, celebrating local voices and storytelling traditions. To round off the celebrations, all lessons across the school included discussions about the importance of reading and how it supports learning, imagination and wellbeing.
On Friday, staff also joined in the fun by dressing up as well-known book characters, bringing stories to life and creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.
It has been a wonderful few days here at Moseley Park, truly highlighting the importance of reading.
