Cheers As Shania Secures Victory
A talented Moseley Park student is celebrating after winning a prestigious national cheerleading title, with a new record score
Shania Dodd, in Year 8, was part of the team who were crowned Supreme National Champions and Grand National Champions at the ‘Future Cheer By The Beach’ competition in Bournemouth.
They achieved a record score of a whopping 98.94, securing a £500 prize and a fully-paid pass to Barcelona.
The victory follows hot on the heels of the team securing an amazing second place in the world championships in Florida.
Shania has been training at SA Academy, in Wombourne, since she was six years old. She currently trains three times a week and competes at level 2, 3 and 4.2 as a flyer.
