Creative Calendar Puts Pupils Ahead At Advent
Budding entrepreneurs proved they had a selection of winning seasonal ideas as they competed to develop, launch and market a brand new advent calendar.
The Apprentice-style challenge saw Year 7 students work in teams to come up with their own Christmas countdown calendar, with a unique selling point.
Competition judges awarded the win to Tianna Downing, Isabella Wilkes, Liyana Shaikh and Emmanuel Elie Kamgo Junior.
Mr O’Keeffe, who organised the contest in Integrated Studies lessons, said: “It was really brilliant to see all of the clever ideas students had.
“They demonstrated leadership and a willingness to help each other throughout this task – these are two of the key values we are keen to instill in our youngsters.”
