Crisp Recycling
Pupils in the Moseley Park STEAM Club with Dr Swann have launched a crisp recycling project with a philanthropic twist. Not only is the recycling supporting the sustainability of the school, but also supporting local homeless shelters. Each week, pupils empty the crisp collection point they designed from the school cafeteria and iron the packets together to create waterproof sleeping bag covers for those less fortunate. The conservation of infrared heat from the shiny side of the crisp packets, supports the GCSE physics curriculum. Empty crisp packet donations are encouraged to support the STEAM charity project.
