For England And St George – And Moseley Park!
Moseley Park Values were firmly on the agenda as students marked St George’s Day.
Year 7 students created artwork themed around England’s patron saint as they celebrated the event on Monday, April 23.
Activities were also tied into Moseley Park’s Values, which reflect the five British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
Mr Mincher, who is Assistant Leader of Key Stage 3, said: “Learning about the customs and legends we have in Britain is very important. We want our students to understand what it means to be British and encourage them to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance. They really enjoyed hearing the legend of St George and produced some super work.”
