Futures In The Frame As Art Students Visit Degree Show
Inspiration was all around as students paid a visit to the annual degree show at the University of Wolverhampton.
Around 50 youngsters from Year 9 and 10, who are all studying GCSE Art, visited the showcase at the School of Art last week.
The aim was to inspire pupils’ own work and well as help them consider their future career paths and options for higher education.
They were able to see work from final year students in a huge number of disciplines, including photography, product and interior design, glass and ceramics, games design, illustration, Fine Art, animation, fashion and textiles and graphic design.
Miss Holland-Bright, who took students to the show with Mr Parkes and Miss Riordan, said: “Students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and were confident to talk to creative professionals about their work. Pupils also had the opportunity to look around the workshops and find out more about the courses and subjects offered at the university.”
