Gold Standard As Students Sparkle At Perfect Prom
Students proved they were a class act as they danced the night away to celebrate the end of Year 11 in style.
This year’s prom – which had the theme Gold and Black – took place at Molineux on July 3. Staff and families provided the traditional welcoming committee for pupils as they arrived suited and booted in a variety of impressive cars, lorries, bikes and even a wheelbarrow!
A range of awards, voted for by Year 11 and their teachers, were also handed out during the evening – with Christ Goprou and Tia Leedham being crowned Prom King and Queen.
And the departing Year 11 students showed they definitely know how to party – with some on the dance floor from the moment the prom started until the lights went up at the very end.
Mrs Thomas, who helps organise the prom, said: “It was a fantastic night. Students had a brilliant time, with some of them still dancing as the prom finished. I’d like to wish our Year 11s every success in the future, whatever path they choose.”
