International Competition Beckons For Karate Star Isabella
A talented young sportswoman is celebrating after being picked to represent England in the world karate championships.
Isabella Wilkes, who is in Year 7, will represent JKS England at the JKS International Cup, in Dublin, from August 23 to 25.
She will be competing in both kata and kumite sections in the 12 to 13 age group.
Isabella has been doing karate for five years and achieved her black belt when she was just nine. She has been competing for Walsall Karate Dojo for the last three years and for JKS England for the last two years.
Last year she won a silver medal in the International Banzai Open in Berlin.
