School Marks Remembrance Day

This week, the school came together to commemorate Remembrance Day, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. The day provided an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and unity across the school community.

In preparation for the occasion, students in tutor groups created a beautiful poppy display that adorned the school gates. Each poppy was handmade by pupils, representing individual acts of remembrance and symbolising the school’s collective respect for our fallen heroes. The display served as a striking reminder to all who entered the school of the importance of remembering those who gave their lives in conflict.

A special Remembrance Assembly was also held, where staff and students gathered to reflect on the meaning of the day.
