Stylish Introduction As Pupils Prepare Professional Portfolios

Art students learned just what it takes to get noticed as they took part in a workshop run by a London-based fashion designer.

Jade Wainwright, who works for a high street womenswear supplier and designs for brands including Zara, Urban Outfitters and F&F, visited Moseley Park to talk about her work as a junior fashion designer.

She helped enthusiastic Art and Design students to begin creating their own professional portfolios for the creative industry.

Mrs Holland-Bright, who organised the workshop, said: “Students really enjoyed the sessions and quickly got stuck into designing their own portfolio. These will be incredibly useful as they prepare for college, university or job interviews in the creative arts.”
