Talented Emily Is A Natural Artist
A gifted Year 8 youngster has left everyone green with envy after producing a fabulous piece of art work as part of her home learning.
Emily Frisby was given the task of creating her own Green Man as part of her Art lessons.
Students have been learning about the mysterious figure from folklore, who is seen as a keeper of the natural world and found in cultures around the world.
Mrs Chalstrey, who is Head of Art, said: “Emily was given the task of designing her own Green Man based on the skills she has developed so far in lessons. She had the option of using pencil or colour. She chose to add detail using pencil and has produced a really fabulous piece of work.”
