The Great Get Together

Moseley Park was honoured to be invited again to take part in The Great Get Together, inspired by Jo Cox.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of former MP Jo Cox. To commemorate the occasion, Pat McFadden is fundraising for The Jo Cox Foundation, which works to build stronger communities and create a fairer world for everyone.

Our staff and members of the Student Council proudly took part by baking a delicious lemon drizzle cake and a chocolate orange cake. The judges were incredibly impressed by the high standard of entries, and despite some tough competition, we were delighted to be crowned runners-up.

A massive well done to everyone involved for their hard work and enthusiasm. We are extremely proud to be part of a community that values kindness, inclusion and togetherness. Jo Cox famously said, “We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us,” and events like this remind us that together we are stronger.
