Year 10 Work Experience 2026

From 18th May 2026, our Year 10 students embarked on their work experience placements across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, engineering, construction, manufacturing, customer service, beauty therapy and business administration.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, professionalism and enthusiasm demonstrated by our students throughout their placements. The positive feedback received from employers highlighted the excellent attitudes, commitment and willingness to learn shown by our young people.

For many students, work experience has provided valuable insight into their chosen career paths and has inspired them to continue pursuing their ambitions and future aspirations. We are particularly delighted that, for some students, these placements have already opened doors to future opportunities, with employers expressing interest in offering apprenticeship pathways when they complete Year 11.

Several students enjoyed their placements so much that they chose to extend their experience for a further week during the half-term break, demonstrating their dedication and passion for learning beyond the classroom.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the employers and organisations who supported our students and helped make this year’s Work Experience programme such a success. Their guidance, encouragement and expertise have helped our students develop valuable skills, confidence and a greater understanding of the world of work.

We look forward to seeing how these experiences continue to shape and inspire the next generation as they work towards achieving their future goals.
