Culture Day 2025
Moseley Park Academy proudly hosted its annual Culture Day, a joyful celebration of diversity, identity, and community. The event began on an inspiring note with a special video message from TV presenter Alison Hammond, who praised the school for recognising and embracing cultural diversity. Her words set the tone for the day, encouraging students to be proud of who they are and to learn from each other’s heritage.
The celebrations that followed were filled with colour, creativity, and collaboration:
- Cultural Attire: Students showcased their heritage through traditional clothing, artefacts, and customs, representing countries from across the globe.
- Food: Students enjoyed an array of international dishes, from Caribbean and African delicacies to Asian, Middle Eastern, and European favourites.
- Workshops: Interactive sessions, including quizzes, music, art, and sport activities, gave students opportunities to engage with new traditions.
Culture Day encouraged students not only to share their own backgrounds but also to appreciate those of their peers. The event promoted values of respect, tolerance, and inclusion, while also showcasing the creativity and leadership of students who helped organise and run the activities.
